Sharon Chappell is one half of the Good Neighbor Lead RN position. Originally from Waycross, Georgia (Home to the Okefenokee Swamp) Sharon spent 35 years in the metro Atlanta area before moving to the Lowcountry in 2024. With over 30 years of nursing experience, she is committed to providing quality care for patients and strives to foster an environment of compassion and understanding. Sharon was introduced to Good Neighbor Clinic through a friend who has been a GNMC volunteer for 15 years. She was immediately drawn to the clinic’s encouraging, friendly work environment and sought a role that provides a sense of purpose, meaning, and satisfaction. Sharon has enjoyed going on medical mission trips in the past and loves the volunteer opportunities she has through GNMC in Beaufort. She spends most of her time on Lady’s Island where she enjoys reading a good book, baking, spending time with her family and exploring nature on nearby Fripp Island.
