Board News: Special Thanks to John Moses and Welcome to Elizabeth Grout (shown talking together at the Clinic Christmas party)
On December 18th, John Moses resigned from the Board of Directors of the Clinic for what we hope will be a brief interruption of his service on the Board. His resignation was prompted by recent family plans, which include more time away from the Lowcountry, at least for now. Mr. Moses brought strong credentials in fundraising and donor relations to the Clinic Board. He has been very generous in sharing his knowledge and helping the Clinic to meet the challenges of two successful Giving Days. We are especially grateful that he has agreed to continue to help the Clinic as an advisor to the Board during the period that he is living primarily out-of-state.
On January 8th, Elizabeth Grout was elected to serve on the Board of Directors of the Clinic. She has been serving as a volunteer at the Clinic for about a year, first working on the front desk and more recently conducting intake interviews. Ms. Grout brings a wealth of administrative skills to the Clinic, which will be invaluable as we work to make our procedures more efficient and to document them for future volunteers and staff. Ms. Grout has a background of increasingly responsible positions in administration, including in clinical technology settings. We are delighted and very fortunate to welcome her to the Clinic’s Board of Directors.
