Dr. David Baehren serves as the Medical Director at Good Neighbor Medical Clinic. Originally from Toledo, OH, Dr. Baehren was introduced to Good Neighbor Clinic when Cassi Kilpatrick, former Executive Director, reached out to him on the recommendation of Jai Dowell from the LOVE Beaufort Mission Group. Although he wasn’t actively seeking a new opportunity, he’s grateful their paths crossed. 

A seasoned emergency doctor since 1989, Dr. Baehren now focuses on urgent care, working three days a month in Columbia. Outside of his professional life, he enjoys photography, boating, creative writing, and spending time with his dogs. He is also the author of the novel Dog in the Road.
